Ambrosia Bakery & Deli is located in a beautiful valley below The Blue Ridge Parkway in Nellysford, Virginia; approximately 8 miles from Wintergreen Resort. We are locally owned and operated... offering an array of food choices, such as "Made to Order" fresh Wraps & Sandwiches, Salads, Soups and Quiche. Plus our assortment of Homemade Baked Goods, Breakfast Sandwiches & Country Ham Biscuits for your morning energy or an afternoon boost!

Ambrosia also has those last minute items for those special gatherings...we can get your party started with Cheeses from Italy, Denmark and England, unique Crackers & Fresh Baked Breads, Dipping Oils and Mustard's or spice things up with our Homemade Dips...Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Baba Ganouj, Spinach Artichoke & our Sun-Dried Tomato Dip...You Gotta Try Them All~

Ambrosia is highly known for their Gourmet Cheesecakes which are made with the finest ingredients and are always available for that day when you want to be sinful and indulge into deliciousness~ They are also available to take to "Your Life's Special Events" and can be ordered in advance so you steel the show at your next gathering.

Ambrosia also supports our local suppliers by carrying homemade breads provided by Goodwin Creek Farm & Bakery. They have fantastic Foccacia, Raisin Walnut Bread, Italian Ciabatta, Polenta Basil Bread, Organic Oatmeal and the list goes on. (Note some breads are seasonal)

We take "Special Orders" for their breads...Orders must be placed by 3:00pm on Sunday to be delivered on Wednesday and available for pick-up on Thursday.

We also serve & sell Greenberry's Gourmet coffee, which is a favorite to those who know coffee...they are a local Roaster in Charlottesville, VA and Ambrosia is happy to introduce them to Nelson County.

Hello, I'm Sherry and I welcome you to my site. I would love to meet you, so when you're in the Nellysford area or on your way to Wintergreen or just out on a day trip...stop in for a bite to eat or pick up some of our delicious baked goods! If you need something to take up the mountain for an event, give me a call or stop in and I can pull either a Dessert or Baked Goods tray together for you in a jiffy! If you are looking for lunch...choose from one of our Greek Gods Wraps or Sandwiches...we also have Salads & Soups and an assortment of other lunch items fresh from Ambrosia! You couldn't leave with out at least ONE dessert...choose from an assortment... too many to list! We specialize in Cheese Cakes...so take a slice or something whole if needed! So call ahead and we'll have your order ready when you arrive. I look forward to seeing you soon!
